How to book

Please note that tickets for selected events have been on sale since 27 February 1998. All City of London Festival Ticket Sales (except for Jennifer Bate and Eyam) will be made through the Barbican Centre Box Office on +44(0)171 638 8891 (Booking fee applies)

Postal applications for tickets will be dealt with in order of receipt, so please book as soon as possible using the form contained in the Festival brochure, and send it with a stamped addressed envelope to:

Barbican Centre Box Office, Silk Street, London EC2Y 8DS.

Applications should be accompanied by cheques made payable to "Barbican Centre" or by a signed credit card authorisation. Please do not enter a specific amount in figures on the cheque, but state your maximum payment, i.e. ‘a sum not exceeding "X" pounds’ in case we are not able to supply all the tickets you request.

Applications without a S.A.E. will incur a 50p postage charge

Tickets reserved must be confirmed by payment within three days or by one hour before the performance, whichever is sooner. We reserve the right not to accept reservations on the day of the performance.

   
  During the Festival
  The Box Office will open at the venue of each event an hour before the performance for the sale of any remaining tickets. Patrons are advised to book as early as possible to obtain the best seats.

  Ticket resales
  If you are unable to use your tickets for any reason, we will exchange them for another Festival performance, wherever possible, at the same or higher price. There is an administrative charge for this service.

For Barbican Hall events normal booking conditions apply. We offer the above service provided your original tickets are received by the Box Office at least 48 hours before the performance.

Tickets received within 48 hours of the performance will be offered for resale at face value. We cannot resell unless the original tickets are returned to the Box Office. If resold there is a service charge of �00 per ticket.
   
  The Festival reserves the right to change performers and/or repertoire if necessary. Refunds cannot be guaranteed.
